Management Teacher Programme at IIMT

The ICFAI Institute for Management Teachers invites applications for admission to its three-year fulltime Management Teacher Programme.

Eligibility:

The following categories of students are eligible to enroll into the MTP:

1. MBA/PGDM/PGDBA/MMS/ME/MTech/MCom/MA Economics/MSc Mathematics/MSc Statistics or equivalent.

2. CFA/CA/CWA/CS.

In addition, all the students should have obtained first division in their graduation and/or postgraduation.

Admission Procedure:

Candidates will have to appear for the Research Aptitude Test to be conducted on January 11, 2004 followed by written case analysis, a micro presentation and an interview.

Applicants with a GMAT Score exceeding 650 need not appear for RAPT.

Last date for receipt of completed application forms: December 31, 2003.

PhD Programmes at IIFT

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade invites applications for its PhD Programme on a full-time and part-time basis in the following disciplines:

1. International Trade Policy

2. Marketing

3. Business Strategy

4. Finance

5. Supply Chain Management

6. WTO & WTO Issues

7. Economics

8. Development Economics & related issues

9. Technology Management

10. E-Business

Admission is open to research scholars, members of teaching faculty in institute's of higher learning and universities, professionals from corporate sector besides officials of central and state governments.

Full-time scholars will be granted scholarship of Rs 10,000 per month besides tuition waiver for the course work and free accommodation at the IIFT Hostel.

Eligibility: Masters in Economics/Commerce/Mathematics/Statistics/Operational Research/Business Administration (including IIFT MPIB)/MTech from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Admission Procedure: A written test will be conducted on January 11, 2004 at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.

Candidates seeking admission on the basis of UGC NET (Research Fellowship)/CSIR or any other examination for doctoral work need not take the IIFT test.

For Foreign/NRI candidates: Selection will be on the basis of GMAT.

Short-listed candidates will have to submit a synopsis on the proposed research work on the basis of which they will be invited for an interview at Delhi.

How to Apply: The prospectus and application form may be obtained from the IIFT, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi 110016 by sending a demand draft of Rs 500 drawn in favour of IIFT payable at Delhi and two self-addressed adhesive labels.
