April 20, 2003 15:18 IST

A suspected SARS [Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome] case has been reported in Mumbai and the person, who came from Bangkok on Saturday night, has been admitted to the Kasturba Gandhi Hospital.

The person was suffering from hypertension and showed high blood pressure and breathlessness, a hospital source said on Sunday.

"However, he does not have high fever," the source said.

The person is comfortable and fine, doctors said.
