I'm over 60 years. I am healthy and fit.

I work as a professor and the head of the MBA department at Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology at Thagarapuvalasa in Vijayanagaram district of Andhra Pradesh.

Had I been working in a bank, where I worked as chief manager 10 years ago, I would have retired by now.

However, being with the young students and the policies of the government to retain faculty members beyond the usual retirement age, let me continue in this job.

I indulge in every kind of physical activity, be it in the college gym along with younger colleagues, swimming or walking, but I use the lift and avoid climbing too many staircases.

When I was serving as senior branch head of Allahabad Bank, I was invited to interact with the students and I fell in love with learning and sharing.

Then, an invite to join academics came from a reputed institute and I jumped at the opportunity. It has been 10 years and there has been no looking back.

I thoroughly enjoy the company of youngsters, and gladly join them in matching dance steps whenever I get the occasion during college fests, farewell parties or cultural programs.

I feel that as long as one is able and capable, he/she should contribute towards more developmental activities, rather than focusing on simple routine and mundane rituals like brushing, bathing, eating or sleeping, which require to be done but do not add any value to life.

Hence, the more one gets involved, takes risks and changes the course of their life, they will surely get satisfaction, which is much more than success.
