What: eLitmus Evaluation Pvt Ltd, a group of young entrepreneurs who have graduated from the Indian Institutes of Technology, has launched eLitmus.

This is a new HR test designed to evaluate basic skills required to get a job in any field. 

Test details

~ The test will evaluate basic skills required to succeed in any profession.

~ It does not test knowledge in a specific subject. This score will be based on the following:

  • Logic and deduction skills
  • Language skills
  • Ability to compute

~ Once you take the test, you score will be available on the eLitmus site for companies and candidates to refer to and use.

~ The eLitmus web site enables candidates and companies to find each other through a technology platform in a far less time-consuming exercise.

~ The test will be held once a month across the country.

~ The next test will be held on April 24 across the country.

Are you eligible?

~ You could be a final year student or a graduate.

~ You must not have more than two years of work experience.

For candidates

~ It will evaluate your aptitude.

~ Currently, the score of the test, called the pH score, is respected by over 50 recruiters nationwide. 

~ The test provides you with unlimited access to a host of top recruiters, based on your pH score. Every company has a cut-off score. Depending on how you fare, you will have access to these companies. 

~ Some companies also have additional criteria like educational background/ academic performance. If you are eligible in all other criteria, obtaining a high pH score would exponentially improve your chances of getting shortlisted for an opportunity.

~ eLitmus already has over 50 participating corporates who constitute top recruiters in the IT, BPO and Life Sciences space, such as:
