Are you eligible?
~ You have to pass Class XII or an equivalent examination.
~ You must have scored a minimum of 60 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
~ If you had Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII, you are eligible for all the courses.
~ If you had Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class XII, you are eligible only for Bioinformatics and Biotechnology
~ You can apply if you are appearing for Class XII examination in March-April.
Important dates
~ Application forms will be issued from January 30.
~ The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination will be held on April 16.
~ Your application must reach before March 15.

~ You can obtain the application form from the Head Post Offices of major cities all over India on a cash payment of Rs 750.
~ You can obtain it by post by sending a demand draft for Rs 750 drawn in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore, to the Admissions Officer with your full address.
