A summer project at IIT?

What: The Indian Institution of Technology -- Madras invites applications from students for its Summer Fellowship Programme.

About programme

~ The duration of fellowship is two months.

~ The course is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research amongst students of the following streams.  

• Engineering
• Sciences
• Humanities
• Management

~ It is a goal-oriented summer mini-project to be undertaken at the IIT -- M campus.

Are you eligible?

~ You must be a student pursuing your third year in any one of the following programmes.

• BE
• B Tech
• B Sc (Engineering)
• Integrated ME
• M Tech
• BA

~ You could also be in the first year of your MSc or MBA course.

~ You must have an outstanding academic background along the following parameters.

• High ranks in university examinations
• Papers presented at seminars
• Projects executed
• Participation in design contests
• Score/rank in Mathematics Olympiad
• Any other awards/distinctions
