What: CNN Young Journalist Award 2007 applications must be in by October 12

Award categories:

1. CNN YJA 2007 (Print/ Online and television category)- A journalist between the age group of 22 - 28 yrs, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience can participate and needs to submit a general news and current affairs story from any part of India or Pakistan, and the story must have been published between the time period of January 1, 2007 and September 30, 2007. To participate in the awards one must submit-

One original copy of the story alongwith two photocopies of the same
Proof of age
Proof of experience

2. CNN Journalist Award (Print/ Online and television category)- Introduced in celebration of the 60th year of independence of India and Pakistan, CNN JA honours journalism that reflects the social and political realities of India and Pakistan.

This award is open for all age groups.

One original copy of their story alongwith two photocopies of the same

Proof of experience

3. CNN Photo Journalist Award- Introduced this year , the CNN Photo Journalist Award aims to recognise the rich tradition and contribution the photojournalists have made to this industry in India and Pakistan.This award is open for all age groups.

Three hard copies of their photograph or a cd with that photograph in JPEG format and a copy of article in which taht photograph has published.

Proof of experience
