India's win over World Champions Australia in the tri-series match at Gwalior has generated a mad rush for the few remaining seats at the Wankhede stadium for Saturday's match-up between the two teams.

Such was rush at the ticket windows on Tuesday that police had to resort to mild-force following a commotion at the stadium.

With only limited tickets up for grabs, cricket fans queued up the windows since early morning, police said. Once the crowd swelled, a commotion took place forcing the police to intervene.

Lalchand Rajput, joint Secretary of Mumbai Cricket Association, said there was a sudden rush at the ticket counters and the police tried to control them.
