'Good things are happening to me'

Rimi Sen first appeared in a Coke advertisement with Aamir Khan. But she had more than just modelling on her mind.

"I have always wanted to become an actress," says Rimi, who moved from Kolkata to Mumbai to achieve her dream. "Luckily, I got a break in Priyadarshan's Hungama."

Rimi is very excited about the film since it stars one of Bollywood's finest actors -- Paresh Rawal.

"I used to feel so nervous facing the camera when he was in front of me. But he always told me, 'Don't worry. Just relax and everything will be fine.' On the sets, his favourite line was 'Be comfortable.' I was never treated like a newcomer," she says.

Hungama also stars Akshaye Khanna and Aftab Shivdasani.

Describing her role, Rimi says "I play a small town girl who comes to Mumbai in search of a job. I find a job in Akshaye's showroom."

The film is titled Hungama because it is all about "confusion, confusion, confusion and confusion," she quips.

Rimi bagged the part when director Priyadarshan saw her in the Coke commercial. "He called me for a meeting. In 10 minutes, he decided I would be the heroine of his film. The Coke advertisement has come as a boon to me," she says.

"I have never seen a man as organised as Priydarshan," adds the debutant actress. "He completed the film in less than two months. He shot in Malaysia and Chennai. But I didn't get time to do any 'touristy' stuff [laughs]. I am very lucky to be a heroine in his film."

Rimi has also bagged Ravi Chopra's family drama, Baghbaan, where she plays Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini's granddaughter.

"Good things are happening to me," she grins. "I am very happy to be a part of a project that includes Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. Amitji is a simple man, very down-to-earth. Whenever I talk to him on the sets I cannot believe he is Amitabh Bachchan. He is so humble and professional. I can say the same thing about Hema Malini. She is just like my mother. Her daughter Esha is like my sister."

When asked about her other projects, she says, "There were lots of offers, but I didn't accept any of them. I am waiting for the release of Hungama. I am sure people will love this film. I am going to get good offers."
