The Indian men's recurve archery team of Jayanta Talukdar, Rahul Banerjee and Mangal Singh Champia on Friday downed Italy to reach the final and put India in line for yet another gold medal in the World Cup Stage 2 at Porec, in Croatia. India will face Russian Federation in the gold medal match on Saturday.

Mangal Singh Champia, Jayanta Talukdar and Rahul Banerjee combined to clinch their second successive gold in the men's recurve team event as India signed off with three medals in the Archery World Cup Stage I at Santo Domnigo in the Dominican Republic. The trio had earned India its first-ever gold at the Meteksan World Cup in Antalya, Turkey, last year.
