Notwithstanding the split over their movement turning political, Anna Hazare has decided not to accept Arvind Kejriwal's offer to return money collected during the erstwhile Team Anna's anti-corruption agitations.
Maintaining that they were "transparent" in their functioning, Team Anna on Sunday dismissed Swami Agnivesh's allegations that donations for Anna Hazare's agitation was siphoned off by Arvind Kejriwal, saying he might be levelling such accusations out of anger.
Activist Swami Agnivesh on Saturday alleged that Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal has siphoned off over Rs 80 lakh, donated by people for Anna Hazare's agitation, by diverting it to a trust run by him.
Silent support for the movement, which has recently turned its guns against industry, has come from India Inc as well, mainly from Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy, who made donations of Rs 25 lakhs (Rs 2.5 million) in 2011.
