Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday condemned last week's massacre in Oslo, saying it was a grim reminder about the threat that extremist violence poses to open societies and underlined the need for all to unite against it. Dr Singh wrote a letter to Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, condoling the loss of lives in the violence. "Please accept on behalf of the government and people of India and on my own behalf my deepest condolences," he said.
