The Central Bureau of Investigation informed the Rajasthan high court on Tuesday that midwife Bhanwari Devi is no more and requested the court to quash the habeas corpus petition filed by her husband Amarchand. But the court refused to quash the petition and asked CBI to produce the final report on February 21. The CBI had appeared before the division bench of the Rajasthan high court comprising Justice Govind Mathur and Justice N K Jain.

A 35-year-old Indian driver was sentenced to death in Dubai for brutally murdering his former boss by bludgeoning him with a hammer and stabbing him 30 times following a dispute over salary.
