A couple was allegedly murdered with an axe in their sleep in Jharkhand's Goilkera area, prompting a police investigation.
A pregnant woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant in the Goilkera area of Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district. The incident occurred when the woman went outside her home after suspecting elephant movement nearby.
Two Maoists including a woman Maoist were also arrested and one of them is an area commander of the organisation.
