Infosys on Tuesday said it has formed a long-term partnership with Daimler AG for a technology-driven IT infrastructure transformation. After the receipt of all regulatory approvals, Daimler AG will transform its IT operating model and infrastructure landscape across workplace services, service desk, data centre, networks and SAP Basis together with Infosys, a statement said. "As a part of this partnership, automotive IT infrastructure experts based out of Germany, wider Europe, the US and the APAC region will transition from Daimler AG to Infosys," it added. The companies, however, did not disclose the number of people who will transition as part of the deal.
"The Board in its meeting... has considered, approved and recommended a bonus issue of one equity share for every equity share held and a stock dividend of one American Depositary Share (ADS) for every ADS held, as on a record date to be determined," the company said in the regulatory filing.

India's second largest IT services company Infosys on Wednesday said its consolidated net profit grew by 11.9 per cent to Rs 5,421 crore for the September 2021 quarter. Infosys had clocked a net profit of Rs 4,845 crore in the same period last fiscal, according to a regulatory filing. The Bengaluru-based company saw its revenues rising by 20.5 per cent to Rs 29,602 crore in the quarter under review (Q2FY22) from Rs 24,570 crore in the year-ago period.
