The Mirzapur: The Movie teaser brings back the world of crime, power and revenge with Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyenndu reprising their fan-favourite roles.
Mirzapur: The Movie brings back some familiar faces, resurrects a few dead ones and adds a fresh crop of actors to its blood-soaked big-screen world.
Dive into the gritty world of Mirzapur, as we explore its pivotal characters, intricate plotlines, and the ruthless power struggles that define this popular Indian crime saga ahead of its anticipated feature film.
'We thought if we made the show, people could get into it.'
From streaming screens to cinema halls, the Mirzapur franchise is clearly aiming for scale! And judging by the mood at the music launch, the audience is ready to make the journey with them.
The cast, once again, remains the biggest reason to invest in this world, notes Mayur Sanap.
Police in Haryana have arrested seven individuals, including the suspected mastermind, in connection with a robbery of gold and cash from a bullion trader's employees. The accused are part of an interstate gang involved in organised robberies across the NCR, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh.
With quite a few characters joining the cast, it would be interesting to see how the story unravels in season two, notes Namrata Thakker.
Pankaj Tripathi anchored the first two seasons with his performance. Here, he is made to sit it out for most of the show, and none of the actors, except for a fiery Ali Fazal, have the charisma to hold the viewer's attention, observes Deepa Gahlot.
'Deeply flawed, Sacred Games and Mirzapur come nowhere close to representing the diversity of stories from this country,' says Vikram Johri.
Deepa Gahlot lists 10 gangster thrillers on OTT for those who have the stomach for gaalis and gore.
'It is a male-dominated show, but that does not mean that the female characters do not stand out.'
