The blast occurred on the busy Istiklal pedestrian street, a popular spot among tourists at around 4.20 pm local time.

Turkey's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said the person who planted the bomb has been arrested.
Officials added that three suicide bombers carried out the attacks at three different spots at the airport.
