Commuters on Sulthanpalya Main Road were startled when they saw a crocodile emerging from a pothole.
An NGO is putting up art installations to highlight the dismal conditions of the roads.
The artist, Baadal Nanjundaswamy, said, "I made the paintings to create awareness about COVID-19 and I have got a good response. This was my contribution to society. It was difficult to come out and paint with so many restrictions."
According to the health ministry, Maharashtra is the worst-hit state with regard to the number of COVID-19 cases with 27,524 cases of which, 6,059 patients have been cured/discharged and 1,019 succumbing to the virus.
