Wimbledon: Play abandoned due to rain

Play at Wimbledon was abandoned at 1820 GMT on Monday due to persistent rain.

Men's champion Roger Federer led 6-3, 1-2 in his first round match against France's Richard Gasquet when light rain caused play to be postponed at 1245 GMT and the players did not return.
