Sudarshan blamed "imperialism" for the "failure of Christianity and Muslim fundamentalists to imbibe the values of tolerance in their religion".

The RSS chief narrated anecedote to cite how "Islam took inspiration from Hindu faith to preach tolerance in their scriptures and preachings and how imperialism spoiled their urge for tolerance".

The RSS chief, reiterated his stand in support of "swadeshi" church.

"When I speak of swadeshi church, I appeal Christian community not to get carried away with influence of outsiders. I was told by a priest that the perfect example of swadeshi church is in Kerala wherein village controls the church," Sudarshan said.
