Uproar in Parliament over Bharti, Savarkar issues

The Parliament was adjourned till tomorrow on Tuesday amid uproarious scenes over the Uma Bharti, Veer Savarkar and 'tainted' ministers issues.

The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day without transacting any business over disruptions on the Uma Bharti and Savarkar issues.

The Lok Sabha was also adjourned for the day amid uproarious scenes with the BJP-led opposition demanding immediate removal of 'tainted' ministers in the UPA government.

As soon as the House reassembled in the post-lunch session at 1400 hours, Shiv Sena and BJP members rushed to the well raising slogans like 'disrespect to national flag will not be tolerated' and 'disrespect to the Constitution will not be permitted'.

Shiv Sena member Sanjay Nirupam was seen showing a book and his colleague Sanjay Rajaram Raut distributed abstracts from the book to some members.

Kripal Parmar (BJP) was seen carrying the national flag and shouting slogans. In the din, Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan asked members to lay papers on the table. As the uproar continued, the deputy chairman adjourned the House till Tuesday.
