Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed's nephew was abducted along with another person by unindentified militants in Bejibehara, the Muftis' home town in south Kashmir in Anantnag district, on Thursday morning.

as Muzamil Ahmed, from their respective homes in Bejibehara.

A police team has rushed to the town.

In 1989, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front militants had kidnapped the Mufti's younger daughter, Rubaiya Sayeed. She was released in exchange for half a dozen jailed militants of the outfit.
