As he prepares for his second term in office, US President George W Bush has said his administration will give top priority to the war on terrorism and the hunt for Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.

Despite the recent taped messages in which bin Laden suggested that more attacks on American interests are being plotted, Bush in an interview to ABC television said he believed the Al Qaeda leader "is not as strong as he was."
"He's
going to be weaker, and I intend to use our resources to bring him to justice," he said. "We will stay on the hunt."
Bush, who begins his second term in office on Thursday, also expressed misgivings for two expressions he used in his first term 'bring them on' in reference to Iraqis attacking US troops and his vow to get bin Laden 'dead or alive' and admitted his tough language "had an unintended consequence."
"I'll be more disciplined in how I say things...I have to be cautious about conveying thoughts in a way that doesn't send wrong impressions about our country," he said.
