Karnataka: Re-polling ordered at two polling booths

Re-polling has been ordered in two polling booths at Bengaluru and Ramnagar after certain problems were reported with the Electronic Voting Machines.

At booth 46 in Ramnagar a mandatory procedure of getting the EVM checked by officials before polling was not followed.

At Malleshwaram in Bengaluru, one of the booths the EVM stopped working and hence repolling has been ordered.

Re-polling in both the booths will be held on Monday, Election Commission of India officials said.
