Serial blasts rock Kathmandu

Three bomb blasts rocked Nepal capital Kathmandu on Sunday afternoon leaving at least 15 people injured.

One of the bombs exploded in a crowded passenger bus near the United World Trade Centre in Tripureshwor, police said.

Another explosion took place in a minibus at Balaju Industrial District in the outskirts of city.

The third bomb exploded near Babylon Disco in Sundhara area of Kathmandu, the police said.

The injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The explosions took place at around 4.30 pm.

A local radio channel reported one death in the blasts but it was not confirmed by the police.

No one has claimed the responsibility for the blasts so far.
