The nomination process for the third phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, scheduled for April 18, started on Friday with the issuance of notification.

This phase will cover 57 constituencies spread over 10 districts, including Bareilly, Moradabad and parts of Kanpur divisions.

Over 1.50 crore voters will exercise their franchise in this phase.

There will be 9,400 polling centres and 14,730 polling stations for this phase.

The seven-phased Assembly polls in the state will be held on April 7, 13, 18, 23, 28, May 3 and 8 for the 403-member House.
