The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed a plea for transfer of trial of the Nithari serial killings case to Delhi.

A bench headed by Justice B N Aggarwal also asked Karandeep Singh Pandher, son of prime accused Moninder Singh Pandher, to approach the trial court for permission to meet his father.

Karandeep sought the transfer on the grounds that a free and fair trial cannot be held in the surcharged atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh.
