Ahead of the talks between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Havana, Cuba, Musharraf issued a statement that he wants 'positive and substantive' talks with India.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshi Mehmood Kasuri, however was more forthright. In a statement, he said the 7/11 Mumbai blasts was made an issue only for delaying the peace process between the two countries, and it was no reason to stop the peace talks.

'Don't blame Pakistan for every terrorist attack in India, we don't blame India for any attacks in Pakistan. India should look into their local problems like Naxalism rather than blaming Pakistan for every terrorist attack in its territory,' Kasuri said in his statement.
