Mourning the death of Minister of State for Education Ghulam [Images] Nabi Lone, Jammu and Kashmir [Images] Government declared a holiday in the state on Tuesday.

Lone was killed in a militant attack in the high-security Tulsibagh area of Srinagar [Images] on Tuesday morning. However, 'the holiday will not be applicable in quake-hit areas where relief operations are going on', an official spokesman said.
