PIX: Amitabh, Rekha, Mangeshkars attend Mai premiere

While Asha Bhosle's acting debut Mai opened in theatres today, the film's glitzy premiere at Cinemax Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb, on January 31 was attended by several Bollywood A-listers.

Asha Bhosle, who plays the titular character in the film (Mai means mother in Marathi), arrived for the screening with siblings Usha and Hridaynath Mangeshkar. Elder sister Lata Mangeshkar gave the event a miss.

Amitabh Bachchan turned up for the screening solo.

Shatrughan Sinha, who had a bypass surgery last year, was joined by wife Poonam.

Sridevi, who's lip-synched to many hit Asha Bhosle renditions in her movies, arrived in a satin top and black pumps.

Rekha, in all her kanjeevaram glory, was also present.

Yesteryear actress Tanuja, flanked by her actress daughters Tanisha and Kajol, arrives.

Race 2 actor Anil Kapoor, who looked unusually thin in his casual attire, posed for pictures with choreographer/director Farah Khan.

Close on Kapoor's heels was daughter Sonam Kapoor, looking lovely in a Kallol Datta sari and statement necklace.

Starlet Shraddha Kapoor chose to go the sari route as well.

Shraddha's mother Shivangi joined her sisters -- Tejaswini and Padmini Kolhapure and brothers-in-law Tutu Sharma and Pankaj Saraswat.

Riteish Deshmukh spotted at the screening.
