A day after Ishaan Khatter announced his new film, his Dhadak co-star Janhvi Kapoor announced hers.
Janhvi will play the title role in Gunjan Saxena, which tells the story of the flight officer who made history when she flew into a combat zone during the Kargil war, a feat never attempted by a lady officer in the Indian Air Force before.
Directed by first-timer Sharan Sharma, the film will co-star Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Angad Bedi, Vineet Kumar and Manav Vij.
It will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
