VSNL on Sunday afternoon rectified a fault which caused a partial breakdown in its internet services in some parts of India.
Sources in Delhi said the fault was caused by a power failure on a link, which caused problems in the international gateway.
The problem lasted for 2-3 hours when subscribers in some parts of northern and western India were unable to connect to the internet.
