Mahindra and Mahindra has posted a 52.21 per cent rise in sales of utility vehicles at 8,638 units in February compared to 5,675 units sold in the same month of 2003.
The total sales of the company were also higher at 10,942 units as against 7,277 vehicles sold in the same period of last year, M&M said in a release in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Tractor sales, including exports, in February stood at 4,296 units (2,820 units in the same month of 2003).
M&M said Scorpio sales grew substantially at 2,196 units (1,262 units), while sales of three wheelers were pegged at 1,647 units (1,037 units).
