L&T Q3 net up at Rs 132 cr

Larsen & Toubro on Monday said it has recorded a 30 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 132.35 crore (Rs 1.32 billion) for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 compared to Rs 101.8 crore (Rs 1.01 billion) in the year-ago period.

The total Income has gone up 36.59 per cent at Rs 3316.15 crore (Rs 33.16 billion) for the third quarter ended December 2004 against Rs 2427.71 crore (Rs 24.27 billion) for the same quarter last fiscal, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
