Bharti Airtel on Friday introduced a new tariff plan for prepaid subscribers where outgoing local call charges will be Re 1 for life in its Lifetime offer.
The plan coming under 'Super Lifetime Prepaid' offers an Airtel user local outgoing tariff of Re 1 for life. Under this plan, the customer can stay mobile by paying just Rs 999 and they have to use a minimum of Rs 200 every 180 days to continue enjoying lifetime validity benefits.
From Saturday, Super Lifetime Prepaid is available to all existing as well as new Airtel mobile users. All existing Rs-999 Lifetime and Easy Lifetime customers get this offer free-of-charge. The Rs-495 Lifetime prepaid customers can avail this offer by recharging with Rs 504 and the STD tariffs ill be Rs 2.74.

local tariff for life is expected to open up new segments of the market from the very young to the old, from small towns to rural clusters. Existing customers too can avail of offer free-of-charge or by paying a minimal amount, depending on the plan that they are using, said the company.
