Anil Ambani meets Chidambaram
January 14, 2005 19:48 IST
Reliance Industries vice-chairman Anil Ambani on Friday spent the day in the capital holding numerous meetings, including one with Finance Minister P Chidambaram.
According to sources, Anil also met senior finance ministry officials. The details of the discussions with Chidambaram and other officials are not known.
On Thursday, Anil had shot off a letter to his elder brother Mukesh, accusing a key director of one of the group companies of sullying the group's image.
Anand Jain, the director of a Reliance company IPCL and a close confidant of RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani, was the target of a letter sent by Anil to his brother.
Anil had attacked Jain earlier this month also by accusing him of conspiring to divide the family.
