It is manually impossible to test a country with a population of 130 crore. But 50 crore individuals have a mobile phone.

The prime minister can request people to record a 1 minute video of them using a thermometer and upload its readings on a government authorised website or in Aarogya Setu app.

The app can take additional details like location (through the phone's GPS) and Aadhar card number.

These details may help the government to identify hotspots of corona patients and accordingly streamline testing of patients with high fever and warning symptoms.
