Admitting that Indian batsmen have started to unravel his secrets, Lankan spin sensation Ajantha Mendis said the 'Men in Blue' had played him relatively well in the ODI series.

''It should be like that. Talented batsmen learn quickly and correct their mistakes,'' Mendis was quoted as saying by the local media in Colombo.

The mystery spinner had become something of a terror among Indian batsmen, demolishing the Indian batting in the Asia Cup final in Karachi and the Test series at home. The latest confession from Mendis will, however, come as much needed encouragement for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his boys.

The spin sensation, however, promised to settle the score next time and said he would find ways to get the better of the same Indian batsmen.

''I too should improve and find ways to beat them,'' he opined.

The 23-year-old opined that the Indian batsmen, who are famed for their dexterity against spin bowling, were over cautious while playing him.

''But you can't say that the Indian batsmen were their usual self. They were very cautious,'' he felt.
