Afridi makes way for Gayle

Chris Gayle will replace Shahid Afridi [Images] in the ICC [Images] World XI line-up for the second Super series ODI against Australia at the Telstra Dome in Melbourne on Friday.
A 12-man team has been picked to take on Australia from which a SuperSub will be confirmed before the toss.
World XI lost the first ODI on Wednesday by 93 runs.
Team: Shaun Pollock [Images] (capt), Brian Lara [Images] (vice-captain), Shoaib Akhtar [Images], Rahul Dravid [Images], Andrew Flintoff [Images], Chris Gayle, Jacques Kallis [Images], Muttiah Muralitharan, Kevin Pietersen [Images], Kumar Sangakkara, Virender Sehwag [Images] and Daniel Vettori [Images].
