Janata Dal-United on Thursday decided not to renew party membership of former party MLA Usha Sinha, wife of controversial Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh, allegedly involved in the 10+2 examination muddle.
All the seven accused have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
Singh had gone underground after resigning from the board two weeks ago ever since his name figured in the Class 12 toppers' scam.
Sinha was not occupying any party position in the party and since membership drive was on, it had been decided that her membership would not be renewed, he said.
And these colleges are affiliated to the Bihar School Examination Board.
Singh had resigned from the post last week after his name cropped up in the scam.
