Ricky Rai, son of the late underworld operative Muthappa Rai, has been arrested after a video surfaced showing a luxury sports car performing dangerous stunts with a fake registration plate in Bengaluru.
The alleged underworld don, who had been deported to India in May 2002 from Dubai in a passport related case, has now been acquitted in all the nine cases against him.
Rai, 68, was suffering from brain cancer for the past one year and was admitted at Manipal Hospital on Old Airport Road, where he died at 2.30 am.
A video of the 71-year-old Muthappa, a publisher by profession, holding on to the speeding two-wheeler precariously on a road stretch has gone viral, creating a sense of outrage.
The film has gripping narration, excellent screenplay and an outstanding background music.
