Q. I had opted for loan with DHFL, while sanctioning they told me the rate of Interest will be 9.75% reducing, but in sanction letter they mentioned 10%. on asking why is it so, they replied me that your area comes unders H.RA (Negative Area - Mumbra), so we have increase the roi by 0.25%... is it right way ???? plus now most of the bank has reduced there rate of interest after RBI instruction, is there any banking body who regulates the ROI amoung Banks & look after that bank dont cheat to their customer. Please advice. Thanks
