Impressed by social activist Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement, a youngster from Bihar, Ajay Kumar, has filed a petition to Vaishali district magistrate to probe into ill-gotten money of his father - a retired government official.

Ajay has requested District Magistrate Prem Singh Meena to inquire into ill-gotten money of his father, Ramchandra Ram.

"Yes, I have filed a petition for probe into the assets of my father. I have requested the state government to order an inquiry into the wealth he has accumulated," Ajay told rediff.com over telephone from Hajipur, the district headquarters of Vaishali, on Tuesday.

He said that he will visit Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his janata darbar in Patna
soon to request him to look into his demand.

Ajay said that his father was involved in corruption during his postings at different places in the last decade. His father is a retired district supply officer. "I have submitted a detailed account of my father's corrupt means to the district magistrate," he said.

However, Ajay has been facing a lot of flak for his actions. After he declared to expose his father, people around him, including his relatives think he has gone insane. "I have been described as pagal (crazy) by some people. But I am not upset, I will fight corruption," said Ajay.

During Anna Hazare's twelve-day-long fast against corruption, Ajay was one of the active members of India Against Corruption in Hajipur, about 30 km from Patna.
