Anna Hazare, who has been hospitalisd after his 12-day fast, on Tuesday received a 'get well soon' message from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Dr Singh sent the message via an official of his personal staff along with a bouquet of flowers, sources in the Prime Minister's Office said.

Hazare was admitted in a hospital in Gurgaon on Sunday after he ended his fast for a strong Lokpal Bill.

'He is doing well and he is stable'

Hazare's condition is satisfactory and it will take another four to five days before he can be discharged, a doctor said on Tuesday.

"He is doing well and he is stable. He has also started taking a soft diet and today he took poha (a dish made of flattened rice)," said Yatin Mehta of Medanta Medicity, who is monitoring 74-year-old Hazare's health.

"He walked for sometime in his room. His blood pressure is 124/84 and pulse rate is 78 beats per minute," the doctor told reporters.

'His condition is absolutely satisfactory'

It will take four to five days before he can be discharged from the hospital, Mehta said.

Asked about how the activist is spending his time in the hospital, Mehta said, "He has not read newspapers but seen some news bulletins on television. His spirits are high."

The doctor said Hazare's weight was 66.6 kg and it has not reduced since Monday. "This means his condition is absolutely satisfactory," he said.

Hazare, who was admitted in the hospital on Sunday, had weighed 72 kg before he went on his fast.
