The Ahmedabad-bound Karnavati Express train from Mumbai was halted for a search at the Vadodara railway station following a bomb threat, police sources said on Monday night.

The police control room at Vadodara got an anonymous call saying that there was a bomb in S-4 coach.

A bomb disposal squad and dog squad were rushed to the station to search the train, the sources said, adding that no bomb was found.

The train was later allowed to proceed to Ahmedabad.
