PIX: Sonam, Dhanush take Raanjhanaa on a tour

Before Aanand L Rai's delightful Raanjhanaa hit theatres today, his lead actors Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush made rounds of various Indian cities to promote the film.

While Sonam mostly appears in deglam avatars in the movie, she more than made up for it with her stylish outfits along side her costar, who looked sharp in his casuals and bandhgalas.

Sonam stole the limelight in her Anamika Khanna lehenga while Dhanush went the ethnic route in his Nehru jacket as they appeared on celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

The actress looked striking in her floral vintage dress as she held on to her costar's arm for Raanjhanaa's promotions in Mumbai.

Dhanush's unassuming look in casuals was a winner in its own right.

For the film's Chennai promotions, Sonam went for a more traditional look with a gorgeous Pattu sari and a potli purse while Dhanush was in traditional attire too, sporting a shirt and a Veshti.

Doing the interview rounds at Radiomirchi, Sonam was at her fashionable best in a Sailex backless gown, accompanied by a denims and black shirt-clad Dhanush.

Sonam's intricately-designed Shehla sari was beautifully offset by Dhanush's white kurta as the duo arrived in New Delhi for the promotional rounds.

Ahmedabad fans saw Sonam in an eye-popping colour-blocked sari by fashion designer Anupamaa as Dhanush stuck to his basic rules of dressing with a grey tee shirt and denims.

The lead pair colour-coordinated in white and beige for their film's music launch in Mumbai.

Sonam was a headturner in a bright yellow Ritu Kumar salwar kameez, as she arrived in Lucknow with Dhanush in an all-black attire.

The onscreen couple looked particularly striking as they took Raanjhanaa to Jaipur.

While Sonam donned yet another lehenga designed by Shehla, Dhanush looked dapper in a white linen shirt and a sleeveless khadi jacket.

In yet another Jaipur sighting, Sonam Kapoor turned up in a Gaurang Shah outfit while Dhanush went for another Nehru jacket, this time in white.
