Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Aashiqui 2 swept the awards with four wins out of six announced categories.

The Mirchi Music awards, held at the Yash Raj studio in Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb on February 27, saw quite a few Bollywood stars in attendance besides the music industry celebrities.

Shah Rukh Khan, whose film Chennai Express won an award in the Female Vocalist of the Year category for playback singer Sripada Chinmayi, arrived in a very stylish leather jacket.

The star actor was also honoured with the 'Face of romantic music' special award.

Madhuri Dixit, whose new film Gulab Gang is set to hit screens next Friday, March 7, was a stunner in her Manish Malhotra neon sari.

Mohit Suri-directed Aashiqui 2 won Album of the Year, Song of the Year for Tum Hi Ho, Male Vocalist of the Year -- Arijit Singh for Tum Hi Ho, and Composer of the Year for Mithoon. 

The Main Tera Hero stars -- Ileana D'Cruz, Varun Dhawan and Nargis Fakhri -- posed for pictures on the red carpet.

Both leading ladies chose designer jumpsuits for the occasion.

Rapper Hard Kaur channeled the rocker chick look in her leather black dress and colour blocked heels..
