Batting ace Sachin Tendulkar was presented the Wisden India Outstanding Achievement award for completing a century of 100 international hundreds, in Dubai on Monday.
The other winners from Asia are Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman, Sri Lanka's Dimuth Karunaratne and Afghanistan Rashid Khan.
'The Wall' won 52 per cent of the votes. Tendulkar had 48 per cent votes in his favour.

South Africa fast bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe is reportedly under investigation in a match-fixing case that has already seen one of the country's former international players banned for 20 years. Tsotsobe told the Wisden India website on Thursday that he had handed over his bank account and cellphone records after being asked for them by national federation Cricket South Africa. Former South Africa limited-overs batsman Gulam Bodi wa banned last month after admitting he conspired to recruit players to fix matches, or parts of matches, in South Africa's domestic Twenty20 league last year.
In a departure from its earlier stand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has extended an invitation to Mohammed Azharuddin for the Indian cricket team's historic 500th Test match and the former captain has accepted it. Azhar, who will be reuniting with his former teammates Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Kapil Dev and Dilip Vengsarkar in Kanpur, said that the 500th Test was a special occasion to celebrate Indian cricket.

Former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, who dismissed Sachin Tendulkar in the All Stars League held recently in the Unites States of America, revealed that he bowled the legendary batsman with a 'teesra' - a delivery he developed, while he was playing County Cricket in England. Speaking to Wisden India, while playing in the Masters Champions League in the UAE, Saqlain said, "I had developed the teesra in County. I didn't play at the top level much after that, so it remained a bit of a mystery. People talked about it. I talked about it. But no one really knew about it. "I think a lot of people believed me, because I had pioneered the doosra. Maybe some people didn't believe me. "I did bowl it a few times in the English county circuit, but that didn't get much publicity. I bowled it at the Cricket All-Stars to Sachin, and that got people talking," he said. Saqlain, who ho has played for 49 Tests picking 208 wickets for Pakistan also explained the trick to bowl the teesra. "It's a bit difficult to explain - the trick is in the grip. What happens is that the ball travels through the air slightly faster than usual, but once it pitches, there is a bit of backspin.
