The Indian consulate has deployed two senior diplomats to New Orleans to get in touch with the Indian workers, the NGOs representing them and their employer. They have filed a suit against Signal for human trafficking and civil rights' violation. They are demanding the $20,000 each of them paid for their jobs as well as monetary compensation.
