The Delhi high court on Friday sought response from the TV Today group and 13 others on a civil defamation suit filed by Law Minister Salman Khurshid's wife Louise Khurshid against the media house for airing a programme alleging financial irregularities in a trust run by the couple.

Supporting his senior colleague, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Offic V Narayanasamy on Wednesday said no action can be taken against Law Minister Salman Khurshid on the basis of allegations of misuse of funds by an NGO headed by him. Noting that the Uttar Pradesh government is conducting an inquiry into allegations against the Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust run by Khurshid and his wife, Narayanasamy said action will be taken on the basis of its report.
